What makes JGR HQ different to other gyms and classes? JGR HQ is not your average gym. Your training is guided by experienced coaches and provides you with a service very similar to 1-2-1 training, but in a group environment and a smaller price tag. Most gyms will offer classes, but our group training uses free-weights that you would only expect to use with a coach during Personal Training. Additionally, our training is programmed using progressive overload principles to ensure you get the most out of your hard-work. With our founders combined experience of over 20 years, we can assure you this is the most effective way we have seen progress with our clients. Not only that, but we are more than a gym; we are a community. Being in a team of supportive women with similar goals, you will find yourself feeling more motivated than ever, with your team supporting you along the way. The classes look challenging. Can I come as a beginner? Of course! Our sessions are carefully curated to meet the needs of complete beginners as well as our advanced clients. We are so passionate about making training accessible to all women, and our coaches are experienced in adapting to ensure you can feel supported as a new member of the team. Some of our content may show some huge lifts, but everyone had to start somewhere. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but someone had to lay that first brick to make the masterpiece. Remember.. you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Why does JGR HQ memberships cost more than a normal gym? JGR HQ is a premium service offering more than your average gym. Your membership at JGR includes a comprehensive service on-par with Personal Training but in a group environment. Not only that, but your membership includes a range of incredible complimentary extras including and not limited to: community events, access to the JGR training app, JGR workout log book, coffee mornings and coach contact. All of this is for a fraction of a price of personal training. As our client has said "investing in yourself and your health - both physically and mentally - is the best investment you can make. For the cost of a few takeaways, I have transformed my life both in the physical sense and in meeting such a supportive group of women". Girl, do it for you.

I've recently had a baby. Can I attend group training sessions? Absolutely! Our coaches are experienced female trainers who will be able to help you make adaptions. As with starting any training programme, we advise you seek advice and clearance from your doctor prior to beginning your training. Commencing any new training regime is at your own discretion and JGR HQ are not liable for determining this. Congratulations! We can't wait to see you in the HQ soon.

Can I bring my child to the gym while I train? JGR HQ are committed to ensuring all women have a comfortable environment to train in. This is why 1-2-1 training is child-friendly if agreed with your coach. We are very excited to announce the introduction of child-friendly group training! These sessions will be held Monday-Thursday at 9.30am. Mon/Tue/Thu sessions begin w/c 15th January 2024 (Wednesday session start date tbc). We are unable to offer child-friendly group training during our other sessions due to space and safety, however we do understand that life happens. If on a rare occassion you are unable to train without your child in non-child friendly sessions, please speak to a JGR coach. Permission for children to be in JGR HQ is at the discretion of coaches for the reasons stated above and should be discussed prior to attending the class. Safety is always a priority for JGR and decisions will always be made based on what is safe for children and clients. If your child is in JGR HQ, their care is your responsibility. Other members will be training with heavy weights which may be dropped, therefore it is vital children are not on the training floor.

Do I need to book Group Training sessions? In order to secure your slot on any JGR HQ Group Training session, we require members to book ahead of time. This ensures you have enough space to train and can receive support from a JGR coach during your session. To book sessions, we recommend downloading the JGR HQ booking system app via this link: ADD LINK As Group Training session numbers are capped, you will only be able to attend a session that you have booked on to, so please do book in advance.

What happens if I need to cancel a group training session? JGR kindly ask that you cancel any Group Training sessions you are unable to attend at least one hour before the session. Group training sessions are extremely busy at JGR HQ and there are many occasions where members add to the waiting list for a session. This is why it is vital that you cancel with at least one hours notice so that those on the waiting list have an opportunity to book on and arrive at the session. You can cancel group training sessions via the JGR HQ booking system app (FitByWix). If more than 3 group training sessions are missed without cancelling in a 3 month period, JGR HQ reserve the right to freeze members ability to book sessions for 7 days. We are sure it won’t come to that, but JGR HQ is a community and we want to keep the environment a fair one for everyone.

Is there parking available? All clients attending JGR HQ Group Training sessions by car will need to park at Kensington Park Car Park or on the road in the surrounding area of the gym. Please keep in mind: there are restrictions on road parking from 8pm-8am. So, from 8pm at night to 8am in the morning, you cannot park on the road unless you have a permit, and there is a chance of a parking ticket if you do park on the road during these times. This is particularly important for those who attend early morning classes. ** Kensington Park Car Park is FREE for two hours, as long as you retrieve a ticket from the machine. This car park is approx 150m from JGR HQ and so will only take you a couple of minutes to walk to the HQ. We are also a 2 minute walk from Tesco. With this in mind, we kindly ask that you arrive at the car park 5 minutes earlier than you normally would arrive to give you ample time to retrieve a ticket and walk to JGR HQ, as Group Training sessions must start promptly. After 8am and before 8pm, you may park on the road outside JGR HQ for free for up to two hours, but please do not rely on there being spaces available, so we always recommend arriving ahead of schedule to ensure you can park/walk. **JGR HQ is not responsible for any parking fines received when attending the gym.

Should I opt for a Gold membership? Our Gold membership is our top-tier, most comprehensive JGR HQ membership. Considering Personal Training but want a more social environment and a cheaper price tag? This option is the best for you. As well as unlimited access to JGR Group Training sessions, the Gold membership provides you with: - Check-ins with a JGR Coach (via the JGR app) - Nutrition advice and meal suggestions (full range of options available to ensure it is flexible to your needs and taste) - Access to the JGR App to track workouts and progress - Priority access to JGR events - Open Gym (train independently - bookable via the FitByWix app) Ready to give it a try? What is the cancellation policy? Membership Cancellation Policy Sadly, we know that some good things must come to an end. So, if you need to cancel your membership, we kindly ask for four weeks notice. Any cancellation made in closer time to your billing date will be canceled the month after. You can do this via the FitByWix app or by speaking to a JGR coach.

How do I access the booking system app? To book classes and manage your membership use the following site: http://wix.to/28D2DBI?ref=cl Alternatively, when you start your JGR HQ membership, you will be emailed a joining link.

How do I access the JGR Training app? The JGR Training App is run through the Jessicagymrabbit app. Either download via the app store by searching 'Jessicagymrabbit'. Alternatively, when you start your JGR HQ membership, you will be emailed a joining link.

What is the difference between the FitByWix App and JGR Training App? The FitByWix app is where you can manage your membership and book classes. The JGR Training App (via the Jessicagymrabbit app) is where you can access your training plans/demonstration videos, track your progress and access your nutrtition.* Links to both apps are sent to you via email when you commence your JGR HQ membership. *nutrition is for Gold Membership plans only.

Should I attend SWEAT or STRENGTH group training sessions? We enjoy the balance both STRENGTH and SWEAT bring you, but this is entirely up to you and your goals. It is so important to find enjoyment in exercise! Come in to the HQ and give them both a try.

Can I upgrade my membership? Of course! To do so, either cancel your current membership via the FitByWix app and rejoin (you have the option of delaying your start date), or speak to a JGR Coach.

Can I reduce my membership option? Definitely. We understand life can put you in busy periods, and so there may become a time where you need to lighten your membership. To do so, cancel your current membership via the FitByWix app and rejoin on your chosen new membership option (there is the option to delay your start date), or speak to a JGR Coach.

Can I start my membership when you are in the middle of a six week training block? Absolutely! Whilst we do train in six week blocks, you can still join us at any time. Our coaches will guide you during your sessions.

Can I attend the gym outside of class hours to complete a session? Open Gym training is available to all of our Gold Membership clients. This is available during class times and bookable via the FitByWix app.

Do you offer memberships without group training - just gym use only? (Open Gym) We do not currently offer an Open Gym Only membership. Open gym is available for Gold Membership clients and is bookable during class times via the FitByWix app.
